How to roll
- Choose your die — d4 through d100 cover every tabletop game.
- Set the count with the stepper (up to 10 dice at once).
- Press ROLL. The dice tumble, then settle on faces chosen with crypto-grade randomness.
- Read the total and each individual face; recent rolls stay in the history below.
- Need a tiebreaker? Flip the coin — heads or tails, fifty-fifty.
Frequently asked questions
How random are the dice rolls?
Every roll uses your browser’s crypto.getRandomValues generator — cryptographically secure randomness, the same family used for security tokens — never the predictable Math.random formula. Each face of each die has exactly the same chance.
Which dice can I roll?
All seven standard polyhedral dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100. You can roll between 1 and 10 dice of the chosen type at once.
What does 3d6 mean in the roll history?
It is standard dice notation: 3d6 means three six-sided dice were rolled. The history shows the notation, each individual face, and the total — for example “3d6: 2, 5, 1 = 8”.
Is the coin flip fair?
Yes — heads and tails each have exactly a 50% chance, decided by the same crypto-grade random generator as the dice. The running tally shows how the flips have landed so far.
Can I use this for board games and RPGs?
Absolutely. The d20 and d100 cover most tabletop RPG checks, the history keeps a visible log of recent rolls for the table, and everything works offline once the page has loaded.
