Love Calculator

Two names, one playful score — strictly for fun, never for fortune-telling.

How to play

  1. Type two names — yours and anyone else's. Any two names work.
  2. Press Calculate. Watch the score count up to your playful verdict.
  3. Share the laugh — the same pair always scores the same, so the result is repeatable.
  4. Keep perspective: it's a name hash for fun, not a verdict on any real relationship.

Frequently asked questions

How does the love calculator come up with the score?

It runs the two names through a deterministic hash function — the same math family used to fingerprint data — and turns the result into a score from 1 to 100. It is a playful name-mixing game for entertainment, not a prediction about real relationships.

Will I get the same score if I try the same names again?

Yes, always. The score is a hash of the names, not a random draw, so the same pair of names produces the same score every single time — even if you swap which box each name goes in.

Is the love calculator accurate?

No — and it does not pretend to be. Real compatibility is built from kindness, communication, and shared time, none of which fit inside a name hash. Take the score as a bit of fun, nothing more.

Does the order of the names matter?

No. The names are sorted before they are hashed, so “Alex and Sam” gives exactly the same score as “Sam and Alex”.

Are my names sent anywhere or stored?

No. The score is computed entirely in your browser and the names are never sent to a server or saved anywhere. Closing the page erases everything.
